Splendour and Faith of the Middle Ages: The Treasury of St Peter and Alexander

The Stiftsmuseum is housed in three wings of a medieval building complex, which originally accommodated the administration of the Chapter’s extensive parish. Various rooms are still fashioned with medieval architectural details. Five major collections are exhibited in the Stiftsmuseum including: archaeology, art of the Middle Ages, the Treasury, Renaissance art and sacral Baroque art.
